I went out to get some practice with the O-GPS1. The location wasn't the most scenic but it was dark. I did some simple edits in PS but those pesky clouds! Arg!

Attached are a few photos taken at Joshua Tree, California of the rather dazzling light show which the Sun put on through the smoke from the Big Bear Mountain Forest Fire on June 19th.

Attached are two more photographs.

---------- Post added 06-23-15 at 08:30 AM ----------

Attached is a photograph of the conjunction of the Moon; Venus; and, Jupiter. If the photograph is enlarged slightly you can see the bands of the surface of Jupiter. It is a testament to Pentax optics that such detail can be recorded with a mere 43 mm lens at a distance.

Attached is a photograph of the conjunction of the Moon; Venus; and, Jupiter. If you slightly enlarge the photograph, you can see the zonal bands on the surface of Jupiter. It is as testament to the quality of Pentax optics that such detail can be captured at such an extreme distance with a mere 43 mm lens.
