Damn!....this was a thread about why you want the K5....and those damn Squirrels took it over!

Squirrels seem to take over a lot of threads on this forum!
Rupert, you are very fortunate to have such lovely/photogenic friends in the garden (even if you do have to bribe them to be your friend!) I don't at all mind the pictures of cardinals (or whatever) that you occasionally post either.
What I am waiting for is to see a picture that you shot of Otis taking a picture of a cardinal.

In Central Park in NYC they have these foreign rats with ears almost like that. When I lived there I spent some time vending stuff there, p/t job thing and the first time I saw those I was like "What the F-?" They're not at all like the sewer and street rats you'd see. They're actually semi-cute and clean looking. They look more like some tame animal that you would find in a pet store than they do vermin. I used to find them quite amusing. They'd come out in broad daylight and chase each other under the trees like squirrels do.

Mike, that is a great shot! What a handsome little fellow that is!

I guess you guys have all read the news in that other thread.....I am so sorry for my mistake....it appears the K5 is nothing but overpriced junk, and not as capable as an older DS, and way overpriced. Here I was trying to explain the miracle of the K5, when all along it was just a hallucination...
My sincere apologies and I will try to beat all of you K5 shooters to the Marketplace to dump this overpriced piece of crap and sell it to get me a Big Fat Nikon or Canon......ranked lower in IQ and abilities than my K5, but somehow better? I am trying to explain that to Otis....but he has a Squirrel brain, and although larger that the "Detractor Trolls" brain, it still can't seem to factor that logic?

Keep calculating Otis.....maybe you can figure it out?

Best Regards!
Meanwhile, before you trash you K5, Otis requests a few more last Squirrel shots......

They are just tiny Squirrels....Otis thinks they are the "cutest"! Otis loves Raccoons too....but he likes them roasted.....

Ok.. I see we have an impromptu WSSA thread going on here.

When they start grouping, you should probably watch out for them...

To give more, I'd have to go back to the K7 days.

Love that first one Jeff! Very handsome little Squirrely!

Otis envisions a day, not too far off, when you can open any Forum in PF and see nothing but Handsome Squirrels or Naked Girls.....not necessarily in that order. Oh Happy Day!
Best Regards!

Otis has sent out an alert....Squirrels worldwide are now viewing this thread....Otis on his Big Screen TV! Let's stop....soon he will be squealing for Cold Beer!

Regards!

Hard to believe I just stepped out and shot this with a pitiful K5....but I did! I must be one hell of a shooter to get one of these with a sorry backdated K5?

Got a bit sick of the squirrels, but I've sent my K7 back to the store for a trade-up to a K5 (plus cash), I've bought a Pentax 18-250 DA ...

I thought I was happy with a K7 (which I truly was) but the momentum of this site has driven me out of my mind

Sick of Squirrels! Hard to imagine! But...when you get the K5 and realize the speed you can get in Tav and not have to worry about the high ISO, shooting Squirrels will be a breeze! I bet we will see some from you?

Best Regards!

squirrel population on this forum needed something like this.
On topic - I want a K-5 to see how it feels and works. But i guess nobody on 100 miles radius has one where i live. So i don't want one.
