What a sad case. Good for a gossip-read only...

Argument flawed at many levels, pretty poor form...

The sharpness of the K-5 is no different than the K200D. I have compared many photos to test this, zooming very close in Photoshop to look at intricate details. The only improvement I've seen is when I used the Sigma or Tamron lenses!
Now I know the author doesn't know what he's talking about. Sigma/Tamron lenses?!? What improvement?

QuoteOriginally posted by crossover37 Quote
The K-5 has a separate e-dial for shutter and aperture. Again, a poor design.
What?

QuoteOriginally posted by crossover37 Quote
Chromatic aberration on the K-5 is atrocious
Silly.

Dah!

Don't want to see this guy around here. If he does come by with a post like that, I'll give him some money so he can go buy his Canon/Nikon and join the respective forum...

You what it really sounds like to me? Wiener has 2 issues here.

1. He is probably maxed out his skill and talent and NO MATTER what camera he gets, his pictures will NOT get any better. No lens or body will fix that (Hopefully going from my Kx to the K5 I still have some room, but if not, I surely will not blame the camera or equipment. That is just life.)

2. No learning curve. He does not have the ability to adapt to the difference in the way the camera works. (It is not that big coming from the Kx to the K5, however, I find my self hunting around some and making some serious mistakes right now with my pictures. They are MY mistakes, not the camera. I will sort it out as I learn.

The one thing about the K5, and this is a great thing when compared to the Kx, I shot almost always in AV mode for everything, and now I see I need to work on other areas, With the Kx, since it does not have all of the options, It made more decisions for me. That IMHO is a compromise. Not bad not good just what it is. with the K5 now that these doors to make more decisions are open, and I make a mistake, I see it, as soon as I process the picture, or see it on the preview screen on the back of the camera. The K5 is forcing me to think more about what I am doing. and hopefully, I will get better.

The guy is a moron and deserves all the negative feedback he can get. I suggested he go get a D3100, it has scene modes and he clearly needs them...

Some people really should take up driving cars into brick walls as a hobby.

yeah but I just read on Amazon that the car he used was too slow, and the bricks were not hard enough to do any damage to his pin head

Oh he is 0-37 now. I comment also.

My review has been on Amazon for a few weeks already, it's the one by "Tekgirl". It's gotten voted 12 "rated helpful" out of 12 so far. Except for the movie features, my review of the K-5 was fairly glowing.

OK, admit I'm bored so I checked again.

0 for 50.

Time for an IPA and a book on QoS and Net Neutrality. I lead a wild, carefree life ....

Edit: Oops .. We crossed, Mr. K.

No need for further comment really, but Otis is concerned about the hat, and says he wants the poor guy to find a new home for his hat......Otis says he can think of a place where the "sun don't shine" and has offered to move it there for this poor abused soul.

It would put a smile on Squirrel faces....yours too?
