I love my K-5 but I do very little low light shooting, I only have less than 700 shots on it, does anyone know what the going used price is? I don't see many forsale. I am just going to go back to a K-7 I think. I still haven't made my mind up yet. Thanks.

I own both the K-5 and the K-7. Yes, th K-5 is a lot bettter in low light and high iso situations. The K-5 is also a lot better at low iso situations. With the K-7 I usually stay at iso 200 as my lowest iso. With the K-5 is normally use iso 100 or even iso 80 most of the time. The increase in DR and image quality in low iso situations with the K-5 is amazing.

The K7's selling for $725 in "like new" condition on keh.com so the K5's gotta be more than that. Take about $200 off it's "new" price?

I think you are a carpenter by trade, because what you say hits the nail right on the head.

I don't think I posted one with my reply? However, I take it that you missed seeing one, and I sure don't want to disappoint! So here you go!

BTW-Otis is also a strict vegetarian but says he will eat Raccoon if they mess with his corn.....

K-5

Update to my original post, the only reason I was downgrading was due to a financial emergency, everyone seemed to be baffled why anyone would downgrade to a K-7, I know the K-5 is a great camera although wow since I have been reading the K-5 forums there are alot of complaints, sensor stains, af issues, dust under the lcd, soft photos, lock up's and on, hey all cameras have issues none are perfect, most likely I will get another k-5 once things get better.
I found a friend who was more than happy to take my K-5 off my hands and he paid me well for it.

Yeah sure.

Though I think you got away lightly just being christened Raybo by Frank.
