ISO 36,000 Baby!!!

I finally got my K5 and I'm loving everything about it...I decided to shoot a ISO 36,000 shot....all I can say is WOW!!! Amazing, I really can't believe how awesome this camera is! Check out the detail of the texture on the wall (top right) on the second picture.

I used LR 3.4 and adjusted recovery up to +87 and brightness down to +26 instead of +50 and noise reduction to +69 and noise reduction detail to +100

Can you post a link to the RAW or DNG file? Would be interesting to play with it and run Topaz on it.

Congrats and indeed the high ISO performance of the K-5 when exposed well gives quite acceptable results even at 100% magnification.

Enjoy.

Thanks guys! Yea, I'm amazed at the great ISO performance. I'm pretty sure this camera will have all I need for many years to come.
