I don't own a K200d, but I do own its sensor-sibling, the K10d. I get the "pop" thing everyone talks about with that sensor, even though the electronics are different in the K200d. The K10d offers lower resolution and poorer high ISO performance than the K20d, but if I sell a body, it will probably be the K20d. The K10d sensor, body size/weight, and aftermarket split image focus screen seem to be a perfect match for my SMC K135/2.5. I will probably keep the body just to stay attached and set up for that lens. I have not had the K5 long enough to test the difference in image quality with that older lens, but the balance is a tad front-heavy.
