K5 Silver availability

Hi!

Do You have any idea why the K5 Silver is maybe discontinued?
I checked some online stores and not found any on stock.

It was my plan to buy one during the summer, it looks like i will miss it.

This shop still has K-5 Silver in stock: Pentax K-5 body (zilver) limited edition
I bought mine there alsoo. Maybe they ship to you?

A couple weeks ago I seen them selling from $2,500 to $3,900, believe these were that last of them...

That is it. There will be no more Silver K-5s... :'( They are truly limited in the sense of the word.

ffordes in Scotland are still showing the silver in stock and I know at least one branch of London Camera Exchange still had one in stock a week or so ago. (They did have 2

We have ordered 5 and we got 2 Bodys.
That´s all.
So,now no silver Bodys in production.
At this time,absolute NO K-5 is in production.
Only K-r is in Production,Sony is not producing the 16 MP Sensor for D7000 and K-5 this time.

Just looked where i bought my K-5 black and they are 1260. Hummmm Cheaper now for sure. When will the shortage be?

That's rubbish info. We can get both silver and black K-5s readily here in Singapore and there are ample stocks. Who says there's a shortage?

The Silver one was very limited to north america (thats for certain, authorized pentax dealers in north america were allocated a set number of units by pentax sales volume, and allocated these units only once), so the info on the silver one is correct - don't know about the black one though.
