Pentax will release a geotagging module that will connect to the K5 hotshoe sometime in June for about $250. It has some pretty neat features, including an astrotracer function that should interest astrophotography fans.

the astrotracer is a really neat feature, and should be pretty useful for photography including only sky.

I'd like more information as how it works. If you can sqeeze up to 5 minutes on a really wide lens, can you break it down to 3-30s exposures and the sensor keeps moving between exposures so you can easily stack them?
