Not exactly a report, more like a supposition. Not surprising given that they're selling them at $1,069 from memory. That's cheaper than US retail.

On the same basis I could claim that about B&H. Several posters on this forum have reported they had received items that looked well used.

FWIW, I think neither B&H nor eGlobal are selling factory seconds.

Eep just received my K5, nearly went eglobal but decided on DWI...

Same kind of thing still comes from HK warehouse. Arrived in 4 days so far so good. Havn't taken it for a massive shoot yet.

Is the K-x heavier? I plan on keeping mine, just in case.

I'll be buying mine on Tuesday from grey market. $400 cheaper than Aussie and even with customs it's over $200 cheaper.

K-x is alot lighter, Im keeping mine too, now I have Black (K5) and White (K-x) combi

Just a heads up, there is a store in Melbourne that has Aussie stock going for $1339, you can walk in and pick up apparently.. Pentax K-5 16MP DSLR Camera Bo from ElectronicBazaar.com.au
