That X100 is a cool looking camera. I'd be all over it if it had a detachable lens. How do you like shooting with it? The reviews I read said some of the ergonomics were a little strange/frustrating, but it sure is a sexy beast!

Also the x100 will take a photo whether or not it is in focus where the k5 won't unless in manual).
You can also set the K5 to use only back button autofocus, or set the camera to AF-C.

The X100 sure looks fun and like it'd fit in a nice little case for easy carrying.

I realize that x100's color is not real. I seen K-5's color is perfect. You see them.

I'm not sure which camera took which photo, but one of the cameras is clearly making better images (at least with the setting used).

Likewise, you should just mark on the picture itself which picture came from which camera.

Well a lot of people are going to read this thread, because everyone is curious about that x100 so please do yourself a favor and make some descent pictures with both camera's and not make a joke out of you own photographic capability's (and remove these pictures).

It does look nice, but to give K-5 a fair chance you'd have to look at K-5 Silver next to that nice little x100.

Unfortunately criticising the artistic quality of what were test shots to show differences in cameras with similair focal lengths seems to have had the effect of the OP'er removing the photos

I had the x100 and sold it for a K-5 silver with 21mm

The fuji x100 lens is better than the Pentax 21mm(Sharper and faster). But I like the grip and speed on the pentax more. Also the ability to change lens. Size and weight is about the same.

Wait! Are you saying that the K-5 with 21/3.2 attached is the same size and weight as the X100? I think that you need new glasses and a new scale. If you are referring to the lenses only, it is impossible to weigh the lens on the X100, as it is permanently attached to the camera body.

I agree. I own a K-5 and have held an X100, and they are not even close to the same size and weight.
