I have an A-50 and A-600 Lens , i use them on AV mode, could they work on TAV mode on the K5 with all the same features as the AV mode

All modes will work fine with the aperture ring set to 'A'. If the lens doesn't have the 'A' then you'll have to shoot manual mode with stopped down metering (meter with green button or activate meter/stop down with depth-of-field preview lever) or use Av mode wide-open only.

Since KA lenses (pre-autofocus) don't report focal length to the camera body, you'll need to manually enter the lens focal length for SR (shake reduction) to work effectively.

For the same reason, P mode won't be automatically adjusted for different focal lengths.

Only the center AF point will be active--won't autofocus obviously but will offer manual focus confirmation indicator in the viewfinder.

There's a section on this in the owner's manual 'Functions Available with Various Lens Combinations'.
