K-5 with 18-135 KIT ?

I have seen some spotty references to 18-135 as a KIT lens, and the K-5 bundled with the said lens. Has this combination ever happened?

I have a 10 month old K7 with the 18-55WR and I am considering getting the 18-135 or for a little more the lens and K-5.

They're not sold together (don't ask me why!), but the price of the lens itself has fallen to $429, so you could get it together with the k-5 for a total of $1728 at B&H.

K5 and 18-135WR are sold as a kit in Australia. (don't ask me why! (quoting Adam) that different kits apply in different countries)

o it's because they run away faster, and you need a longer lens to keep them in the frame.

the rest of us, just can't keep up.

I just bought k-5 and 18-135 as a kit in Norway. Got the lens for about half the price that way (although half price here is more expensive then full price over seas. Lens separate here is close to $1000) . It seems like a very nice match with the k-5 and I'm happy so far.

I went to my local dealer and simply asked for a better price for the two as a single purchase. Got perhaps USD $100 off (don't recall exactly).

Don't be afraid to haggle!
