New to K5

Hi everyone,
I just got my new K5. Everything is perfect. But sometimes if I changed a lens, the camera cannot autofocus and it keeps finding the focusing point with some weired sounds.
I am not quite sure what is this problem. Everytime, after I turn camera off and on, change the battery and take the lens off and on again. It may works out.

How should I deal with this problem?

Thank you guys!

Try cCleaning contacts

Hi, welcome to the group. I wish you everything of the best with your new camera!
Try cleaning the contacts on your lenses as well as on your camera body with a soft cloth and some cleaning alcohol (meths will do - just dont get any on the plastic parts)

regards,
John K

Thanks guys.
My update: this problem only happens on my 43 f.19 lens. It works pretty well on all other lens.
I wil try to clean contacts.

Sounds to me like the screw drive not engaging properly - I've found that the K5 spins it a little too fast for some lenses.

Try mounting the lens, and turning the focus ring until it engages with the focus drive. Everything should be OK after that.
