Well, not necessarily. Because of the cleanliness of images taken at low ISOs with the K-5, you can get away with more sharpening in post, which enable you to get sharper results from less sharp lenses. The big winner for me so far has been the DA 10-17. I struggled to get sharp results with that lens with the K200D. I've had no such problems with the K-5. It's breathed new life into that lens.
