K5 replacement warranty

I sent my K5 in for the e-dial and mirror flop problem. 21 days later I received a new replacement camera. I had purchased the extended warranty for the original (now defective unit) and am wondering if that covers the replacement. Anyone know what the warranty on a replacement is? and if the extended warranty is still good on the new unit? The paperwork says 6 months warranty on repairs but does not mention replacements. Very confusing.

I think if you read your warranty, it will say something like "repair or replace at the companies discretion"
Generally, a company will replace a defective product if repairing it will cost them more.

I'll send them email to clarify it. the repair paperwork says 6 months on repairs, but its a new unit, not the old repaired unit

Clarify it with the company for sure, but I'm pretty sure that the warranty will transfer to the replacement camera.
