Pentax D-BG4 Battery Grip

Does this work with the K-5 as well? I have one on my K-20 and really like it. Thanks.

The battery grip you have with your K20D is the D-BG2 and will not work with the K-5.

The D-BG4 is the grip that works with both the K-7 and K-5.

Hello the Pentax Battery Grip that works with the K20D is the D-Bg2. And the Pentax Battery Grip the works with the K5 is the Pentax D-BG4 from what I have found and understand. The D-BG4 (K5-K7) looks like it has 1 more row on pins on it than the D-BG2 (K20D).

I hope this makes sense.

Yup it's a great accessory, I always keep the grip on my K-5. Wish it were a permanent part of the camera
