That's not what the manual says.

I don't have a K-5 to try myself but what Matt told you goes contrary to what is in the manual, what other Pentax reps. have been saying, and what other users have posted.

I know the manual makes your point on page 127 half way down in the grey box.

I knew that when I asked about that because I needed to adjust beyond +10 for my lens. That is why I asked the question. The rep and I went thru this twice and it took him a few moments because he apparently had conflicting information that he needed to double check. This would not be the first time there was incorrect information in a manual. I have seen that more than once.

But more to the point I am reporting the conversation I had.

It is in a limited fashion using the debug mode.

I found my 50-235 to need zero adjustment after firmware upgrade, where it needed +3 prior.
