Last night I quickly I looked at a couple of the images I shot that were severely over exposed. Found it interesting that in Adobe Bridge, it said the images were shot in using manual exposure but I am certain they were not. They were shot in aperture priority mode. In fact, the data had the Av locked but the Tv changed indicating that it was in Av mode. I haven't had more time to dig but did find that curious. I am going to do more digging tonight and look back to other sets of images from different days that had overexposed images.

I am reading the exif info wrong. On PhotoME it shows that I was shooting in AV priority mode in an exposure mode of Auto Exposure but when I change the exposure compensation to -0.7 it states that the exposure mode is Manual Exposure even though I am still in AV priority.

That seems to make sense. Still doesn't tell me why some images are overexposed though.

I have done some more testing comparing my K5 with K7. I used my FA 50mm 1.4 with the aperture ring at F4 on manual mode. I had comparable results. When I have the two cameras in program and everything I can find on the camera identical and using the same lenses I get up to one stop over exposure on the K5.
