I have a bunch of canvas prints the largest is 60 inches X 42 inches and another one that is 48X40 - both taken with my K7. It's all about viewing distance and what you are printing on and how good your printer is - my printer is really good but I pay him quite well. Canvas is quite forgiving, Gloss photo paper is not. I had one at an art show and people were walking up wanting to touch it because it looked like a painting.

Rant alert.

I hate that, why is it OK to walk up and touch it just because it looks like a painting? They've still got oily grimy, grubby little fingers...what is the matter with these people? BUy it, then you can touch it all you want, until then keep your muckers off it. I don't care if it does look like a painting... oops, sorry, back to the main topic...

I am looking at a 40x60cm print on baryta fine art paper and a nice passepartout above my working place (taken with a Sigma 70-300 OS).

I have several 30x45cm prints in my living room - all of them are just perfect, even if you go close! This is why I have never understand that people long for more megapixels - how large do they print?

There are three shots of me hanging in an office in Berlin - if I remember correctly - on something like 80x120cm on canvas, shot with a 6MP K100Ds! (viewing distance...)
