slow writing?

Is it normal that it takes about 4 seconds for an image to appear on the screen of the K5 after capture? I shoot RAW and I have a Sandisk extreme 16Gb class 10 card. As a comparison, it takes less than a second for my K200D to do the same thing on a Panasonic 8Gb class 6 card. Swapping the cards between the cameras did not change much, if anything.

That is slow. Do you have any effects or corrections on?

thank you !

I had two NR options set to auto. I switched these off and the images now appear on the screen in less than a second !
I did not think these NR options could affect RAW files but they surely do. Thank you very much for making me look into this. That was very helpful.
