I shoot with my DA35mm macro about 95% of the time so it has really been indispensable for me. Add the fact that you can also shoot macro and it really is incredibly versatile

thanks for all the advice. I think that I'll leave the 35mm on marketplace and if I get a good offer I'll sell it. If that doesnt happen I will sell my Cosina 100mm Macro and save up for the K-5 +/- 18-55mm.

2. Get the K5 and keep the 35mm.

I use K5 plus FA 31 Ltd all the time.
My kit zoom is a back up. I have taken one shot with it.

You can always zoom while using 35mm....with your legs!

Great Camera to buy. I switched to K-5 from Canon 7D. No regret at all! Its been 3 months and I am very happy so far. Collecting old pentax lenses, so far got SMC Pentax-A 50mm F1.7, SMC 135mm M.

I am also holding off buying a K5. I'd rather put money into lenses. I'd love to see Pentax make a full frame digital body.
My kits right now:
#1: K20, DA 16-45, DA 50-200, Pentax-A 50 1.4 and sometimes my Sigma 90 f2.8 Macro (a really nice KA mount lens)
#2: K20, SMC Pentax-A's: 24 2.8, 35 2.8, 50 1.4 (or 50 1.7), and 135 2.8, with Takumar-M 50 f/4 macro and the Sigma 90 2.8 Macro
#3: The lenses above with my KX and K2 film bodies instead of the K20.

The two lens kits live in separate bags and I just have to put in the body or bodies of choice. Variations on the above happen as well, especially when I want to be very light. I sometimes do stage/music photography when I bring the 24, 50, and 135 (I'd love to get a 135 1.4 and a 24 f/2).

Happy days, I have just recieved my K-5 and it looks just lovely. Bit heavier than my K-x but in a good way. Now I just need to hook up my DA 35mm and stop talking about kit and take some pictures

Ps. Ebay has 10% off electronics until the 31st october for everyone - there is a voucher code available - time to buy a lens anyone?
