K-5 Live View AF Speed very good only with SMA DA 18-135mm Lens ?

Today I was checking the Live View AF speed of the K-5 with the SMC DA 18-135mm WR lens and it's really fast, much better than what I expected for LV, do you know if this is true for other Pentax lenses as well ?, I am planning to buy the 50-200mm WR, 100mm Macro WR and the 40mm DA Limited pancake, thanks a lot.

As Mehlsack said, all screw drive motor lenses should perform the same - However, the same goes for all Pentax SDM lenses as well as for all Sigma HSM lenses when comparing lenses across the same technology.

I have the 18-135 and various screw drive lenses which I've tried on the K-5's LV.

The DC motor in the 18-135 is definitely the fastest of the lot (it's absolutely blazing), but my normal screw drive lenses are usually pretty close. The exceptions are my macro lenses (the DA 35 ltd, and DFA 100 WR), which depending on where they are on the focus ring can be very slow. This is simply because they have much longer focus throws (the rings turn much further) so it's to be expected.

The DA 40 Ltd would probably be as fast or faster than the 18-135, given its very short focus throw, and general reputation as the fastest focusing Pentax lens, but I don't have it to test.

The speed for all lenses is massively improved in my K-5 over my K-x though, especially in LV.
