Ordered K5

With mild trepidation I pulled the trigger and ordered a K5 to replace my KX. After reading ALL the good and bad about the K5 I figured if I had any problems this group will help me with any issues I might have. I am not looking for any problems and am excited to get this Camera. I ordered it thru Adorama which will give this site some monetary credit. Also ordered the grip and two year warranty.

Congrats! I did the same thing a month ago. Ordered mine with a grip from B+H, no problems to date and what a nice camera and upgrade from the K10/K20 series which I came from.

I'd keep my K-x, though I may sell my K10/K20. The K-x is a nice backup, especially when traveling. The AA capability comes in handy.

I think the Pentax 2 Year Extended Warranty is a no brainer for $19

You won't regret it. K-5 is a great camera. Also,the K-x makes a great 2nd camera to carry if you don't like changing lenses.
