Gray's K-5 Images

I've had my K-5 for about a month now. For those still hesitant about the camera, here are some example images that I think show it off nicely.

All the images are uncropped & unretouched, just resized down to 1024x768 with very moderate sharpening for the screen.

smc PENTAX-DA 55-300mm F4-5.8 ED

Nice shots Gray, beautiful countryside. Captured and well composed and a good choice of lens to go with a great camera. Thanks for sharing.........Cliff

Nice shots indeed! Lovely location... I managed to pick all the 40mm pics without peeking at the data - a sweet little lens that one.

The colours the K5 produces is an overlooked feature. Great shots!

Thanks usn ret, sterretje, ronpyke, ozlizard for your kind comments

Isn't the K-5 a great camera?!!!

Here's a second set of landscapes showing off the K-5 using the same optics, shot at sunset yesterday, mostly using the DA 55-300.

I also had a 70 Ltd with me, but pretty much stuck to the 55-300 because the wind was blowing quite fiercely. I didn't want to change lenses with so much turbulence and dust around.

I'm always learning, so any comments are most welcome!

Beautiful shots... you may never have to change locations!

I agree that the colours are magnificent... very cinematic/dramatic.
