All very excellent, the kingfisher and chiffchaff pictures in particular. So you are a wildlife photographer? park ranger? field biologist? Thanks for the photos, we'll take all you're willing to show us.

Simply stunning images. Well done

If you don't mind me asking, what sort of focus length, ISO and aperture are these captured with?? Very interested as I have the older 170-500, and while I know the 50-500 is quite a bit better, these are unbelievable in comparison to the best I can get at beyond 400mm. But I also battle to get high f-stop and don't like pushing ISO with K200.

Thank you. You can look image properties for shooting details.

I used a Sigma 170-500mm second edition with K10D. This lens -> http://www.sigma-imaging-uk.com/lenses/telezoom/170-500mm.htm

It's a really sharp lens but not quiet and AF speed not perfect but you can try firstly focusing manually and after AF and shooting. Pentax bodies' AF-MF lock key very useful for same solutions. And K200D is great body, ISO is not problem. Regards...
