I hope you have a K7 as well; else you have to wait approx. 6 hours to charge the battery before you can use the K5 Enough time to page a few times through the 300-plus page manual

Why wonder? 9 members of the Dutch Pentaxforum site, including me, already got confirmation from Pentax Benelux that payment of 100 will take place within 30 days.

I wonder a bit since I work in camera retail and already get a price that's way below average. Ah we'll see, if not then I'll still get a good price and I'd be perfectly happy.

Woohoo it finally came in this Saturday! Haven't had a lot of time to use it yet, but so far I'm loving it. It's just about everything I wanted to have improved after my K10.
Aside from the obvious things like high ISO performance (which really is stellar though) and improved AF I'm also really liking the ergonomics. My hands are quite large and thus I never really liked the K10s shallow grip, but the K-5 is just great. Fits like a glove. Another thing that really stands out is just how quiet the shutter sound is. Haven't heard a quieter DSLR yet.

I'm happy

Congratulations, I just bought mine yesterday as well! Compared to the K-x it's bigger but better balanced and more comfortable.
I had to pay a little more than you did though...
