Extended Manufacturer Warranty
Does Pentax offer any extended warranties for the K5.

I'm really not interested in the Mack stuff- they have a terrible reputation.

Funny, I clicked on the link to see the cost (I just bought my K5 from Adorama and ordered the 2 year extended warranty from them for $19.95) and the page says this about the warranty

"Temporarily out of stock"

Not sure how that could be but........

The warranty is extended via a printed card. If they have no cards at the moment .....

Adorama still has them in stock. I ordered one about an hour ago along with the K5

The salesman who sold me my K-5 at B&H feigned ignorance of the Pentax extended warranty and tried strenuously to sell me one of those expensive "you can smash your camera with a ball-peen hammer and they'll fix it free" warranties. It took me a while to get the plain extended warranty out of him.
