this is my first.. I'm looking toward the upgrade.. I wanted video but don't want to switch anytime soon. I hope I can deal with the MJPG format lol.

I also pulled the trigger. Now I need to sell some stuff. I bought mine from Adorama. I didn't see it for sale on Amazon, was that an error?

I just jumped also. I've been kicking it around for a while and I had the cash so I took advantage of the deal at Adorama. So far, this is the only item I have seen this holiday shopping season that I was in the market for at a good sale price.

Ordered mine last night. I just could not resist. I had decided to wait for the next body but when I saw that price decided to go ahead. My wife has already claimed my k-x, so I won't be selling it.

Wish I could have gotten it from Amazon for that price because I have the Prime shipping deal (next day for $3.95!!) but will have to wait for the s-l-o-w free shipping from Adorama. Still, a K-5 for <$1000 from an AD

I ordered mine from Adorama last night, and I got an email today saying that it would arrive tomorrow! I picked the slow boat 7-10 business days free shipping.

I'm very impressed.

I just got an email saying that it had shipped. UPS says that it is processing.......but the chart says that NYC to me is 2-3 days by ground so that's a plus. Anticipation.......it's making me wait.........
