UPS delivered mine today from Adorama. Early X-mas gift from the wife.

I had my K-7 battery charged up so I was able to use it in the K-5 to fire a quick test shot. PhotoMe showed that it was the 1st shutter count but the manufacture date was 1/29/11! Hope it doesn't have any problems. The high ISO is amazing!

Been reading his forum regularly since I got the K100ds back in 2007. Hoping to be more active since I'm a little more experienced now.

I bought mine 3 weeks ago for $1049 with the Kit lens 18-55mm WR but there was a fault with the lens it had to go back, today finally my new lens arrived a Tamaron 17-50mm f2.8, wow my photos are so sharp and the image quality is great. I have been wanting a smaller camera to replace the Nikon D300s but when I had trouble with the first lens I was a bit put off Pentax but with the new lens I'm in love again with the K5.Here's my 1st photo with the K5
