Will a Nikon SB 600 flash work on a K5

I have a Nikon D300's camera and a SB 600 Flash, can the flash be used on my K5 without causing any damage. I know I will have to use the flash in manual mode but if it will work it will save me buying another flash unit for the Pentax

Yes it will work fine, and it won't hurt your camera.
