Should I upgrade?

I mainly use my Pentax K-x for video, but have noticed that the camera is very grainy in dark areas, even if it is bright everywhere else. I have found no way around this and am thinking about upgrading to the Pentax K-5. I watched this video,
on YouTube and there is no grain whatsoever in the video. While this is an expensive upgrade, I am willing if it means it will give me way better video quality. Please give me your opinions and thoughts and help me out!

Thanks!

The K-5's sensor is indeed quite good- so if you want to stick to Pentax, it would definitely be a step up.

The Canon 7d is also worth considering if you do a lot of video stuff.

What about the 60D? That seems quite good as well and it's more in my price range.

It's certainly a great camera for video (thanks to the tilting screen), but for stills you'd find the K-5's IQ superior.

Video is for the Canon crowd, AF and flash is for the Nikon people and every thing else important is for the Pentax 1%

If you mostly use video buy a video camera. It will cost half as much and be better suited for what use use it for. Keep the Kx for stills.
