Experience with K-5

After playing with this beast for 2 months, I have to say, it's an excellent camera. Huge step up from K-7.

I've never done a night scape. I'd be interested in getting some pointers about the setup you captured the above nightscape with.

It's extremely nice. 5 stars.

I'd like to do my own and use yours as a benchmark.

Hdr, stacked? Maybe 6 or 7 images?
Off a pod.

Cut the dog some slack, he finally had the chance to use the camera.
That downtown shot came out nice.

Any cheap clamshell, as long as it's glued to the body of a K-5!

Sorry, that wasn't nice of me...

I like the post work you did with a few of these. Amazing how with a little bit of technology you can turn a nice photo into a great little bit of 'ART'.

May I ask what lens and settings you used on that first shot? Thanks.

I concur. Awesome machine.
However, I have a bit of a dilemma when shooting with the flash enabled that I have yet to figure out. Sometimes the flash simply wont fire and the shutter will not release. I move my eye from the viewfinder to see whats going on, press the shutter release and the camera fires with flash - I know it's not a autofocus issue - I checked that. I now suspect my finger is getting in front of a sensor but I am yet to verify.
