How to get lens off extension tube?

I got a cheap ebay extension tube and it arrived today.
While it works very well, i have problem taking my lens off the tube (pentax-m 50mm f1.7).

since there is no instruction for that, i think it is faster to get response from here than from from the seller.
I see a little screw on the tube but unsure what does it do.

So can anyone give me any clue?

Can you post either pics of, or a link to the tubes you're using? K mount tubes should have some kind of button or lever to release the lens.

With the lens pointing up, push the button down (slide it downwards in the long direction of the tube) towards the floor while rotating the lens counterclockwise.

Is the 'screw' the sort that looks like it tightens with fingers?
If so, and if it like mine, it is not a screw but a knob that activates a locking pin.
Draw the knob away from the lens and the lens should release easily.

Taking an extension tube off your lens

After reading many reply's on how to do take your lens off an extension tube I found out the real way to do it. That little screw knob on the extension tube does not get pushed in or pulled out to release it, you need to slide the little knob inward towards the camera body to release the lock, then your lens should come right off.
