Below I've tried to address the questions raised.

Updated pricing info. from the manufacturer - They would cost $40 USD plus shipping.

I've since realised that there's no reason why this shouldn't fit the K-7 as well since the bodies are identical. That obviously widens the potential audience/market.

Thanks,

Adam

How does it handle dust? I know the silicon covers on my other devices attract dust. Though with the K-5 you could just rinse the whole setup at once.
I can't speak to this specific product, but my Camera Armor did have a tendancy for a few particles (dust) to stick to it, yes. I never really thought about it until you raised this question though.

i always shoot with the vertical grip attached. would this interfere with the grip attaching to the body?
I doubt it would be compatible with the grip, every product like this I've seen wraps under the body to some extent.

Does these silicone skins do anything to muffle the mirror slap noise? Maybe if there was a cover available for the prism/built-in flash it might be more effective(?).
While it might muffle noise a a bit, I don't think it would be noticeable. I think the prism/flash is deliberately cut-out so you can continue to use the built-in flash with the cover in place.

I had a thread about this a while ago. For another manufacturer, but they needed an order for at least 1.000 items. How is that with this product?
300 units.

If it's not 'grip compatible', that rules me out.

I would wait until the K-5 replacement is announced. If it is has the same body as the K-7/K-5 then I think you can get enough sales to justify the cost. If it fits really well I would buy 1 and maybe two.

What would the shipping to Aus be? OKay with the price, but I dont want to pay as much for shipping as the product itself.

I guess you can put this in an envelope and send it as letter- so shipping wouldn't be too expensive?
I'm in for one by the way- if reasonable shipping is provided
