Too bad it does not hold the remote.
I second that.
This is a better option like the one on K10D/K20D

Love the quality of the grip if not the price, but I put that to the back of my mind now. I always have the grip fitted for the greatly improved handling and extended power. I spend lengthy periods away from a charger on a sailing yacht so the AA tray is very useful.

It's the same here in Finland (289€) or $381 USD. I will order mine in the US and have someone bring it over or I will pick it up on my next trip.

You guys in the US have all the cheap Pentax gear

Seriously, I laughed when everyone here started complaining about the new US Pentax lens pricing a few weeks ago... even with the new prices, you are STILL paying less in most cases than the rest of the world. Kind of the same story with gas... (we pay 2x the US price for gas in Europe generally today, earlier it was 3-4x).

I got mine in the post yesterday from B&H. My K-5 feels much better now.

I agree with the above post that I miss the remote storage from the K20D version. But now I have an AF button on the grip, so I am happy!

I managed to get one from AU eBay, brand new ( demo unit) with full 12 months AU warranty for less than half price, so I am happy...
