Minimun iso is 160?

Hello Guys,

First of all, thanks for your help.

My K-5 is a fine piece of machine. I'm however not able to lower the ISO values below 160, although I'm almost sure I saw somewhere that it can go down. Any clues about it?
Thanks!

Turn off expanded dynamic range in your shooting settings.

Since you are at 160 your expanded iso is "on" so keep that and you will be at 80

Has this not joined the "clunking noise" sticky yet?

Bump..

In "D-Range" option, there is "Highlight Correction".
When its "ON", minimum ISO also set to 160.

So, check the menu 3/1 > OFF
and C1/3 > ON (80 to 51200)

OP (ferhlopez) writes;
"..I'm however not able to lower the ISO values below 160..."
And I explained on my previous post how to correct this issue.

Sorry but I don't understand what I should explain.
Are you asking the Dynamic Lighting correction option?

Custom Menu 3 should be set to on to enable the full ISO available range from 80 to 51200.

Make sure that Auto ISO minimum ISO is set to the lowest value that you require.

I just purchased a K-5 IIs and experienced the same problem, the ISO would not go below 160. I tried everything from removing the battery and reinserting but nothing worked. Finally I RESET the camera to factory setting and that seemed to solve the problem. I'm pretty sure I had the expanded ISO function 'ON' because I was using the base ISO 80, but not sure how it got stuck on 160.

The "D-Range Setting" on page 3 of the "Rec. Mode" settings (the ones with the camera icon), you must have had it's Highlight Correction option turned on. See page 190-191 of the manual.
