So happy with my K5!!! :-D

i have my K5 for a month now, and all i can say it's wow! I had the k10d before and to me the difference is night and day. What I love the most is having exposure control in manual mode which the k10 didn't have.

The image quality its surprising, and its so easy to use. The Iso range is extremely useful, and even at 16000 iso you get good results. This camera is amazing. I love pentax.

I know the feeling. Pretty soon you will be thinking - gosh this lens doesn't have enough reach, or I need a wide angle. You have been warned. Post some pictures!

Sure, I had the same feelings about one year ago. I even contemplated leaving Pentax before the K-5 came out but now I feel like there could not be a better camera for me.

It's easy to get distracted by all the new cameras coming out, but you own a camera that is very difficult to beat, and can enjoy it for a very long time. Congratulations!
Regards!

Congrats to your choice for the K-5, vimeto !
i bought mine in May, 2011 and the shutter count indicates more than 11k.....
i use the DA 40mm ltd. as walkaround lens and it performs wonderfully

Greetings from Austria,
Sascha
