Maybe the d700 was a mistake though.
If not, then there tests are not worth the paper they are writen on. It realy is that simple.

Well he said he came from the 5d not the 5dII, even though later he was talking about 5dII noise profiles. Even if he prefers that of the K5, the noise still comes in later up the ISO scale for the 5dII so is less of an issue anyway.
