I have to agree with you, my 60-250 is a beauty and stick the Pentax AF 1.7 Adapter on it and you have everything you ever need. (Well almost)

Well the idea of the 1.7 adapter is good, but I am silly enough to also carry a Sigma 500 4.5 so I need something comparatively small like the 60-250 to fill the gap between the 500 and my gorgeous pentax primes.
