Thanks! Sell it I think. It's a fantastic camera, but I don't have the finances to support two bodies.

Yeah I was looking at that warranty card on B&H. Noticed this: "NOTE: This warranty may be purchased up to 90-days after initial purchase."

So...I purchased my K-7 equivalent warranty card some 6 months after I bought the camera...does that mean it's pointless? That note seems odd, especially the word "may" instead of "must".

Edit: Adorama's listing has this note: "Can only be purchased within 30 days of original equipment purchase". They can't even agree.

I consider it a small loss investment. Not as good of an investment as lenses surely, but In two years of use my K-7 has only gone down $150-$250 in value from what I paid brand new. Looking back at all the fun captures I got during that time, I consider that $150-$250 well spent.

I likely didn't "need" the body, but I certainly desired the extra DR. I'm a lightroom junkie, and I typically push my images to the limits in post. Now those limits just expanded a few Ev. :P

I've looked into this lot and developed reservations. Chose to buy yesterday from B&H instead. But they certainly seem to be authorized by Pentax and I imagine you'll be OK as long as everything goes well.
