I learned from that

Many years ago I dropped a camera of a friend of mine. Nothing broke etc.
Sincet that time I am having I kind of a trauma/paranoia of dropping a camera.

On my K5 I am using a lanyard, just to secure during handling the camera.
Putting my hand through it during shooting. See picture*.

The original triangled ring of the K5 strap has sharp edges, so I wrapped a
shrink tube (cut on the long side) and wrapped the lanyard twice around.
Followed 'dinos' advice and found a hook in my junk box. This will hanging
on the sniper belt.

* radio amateurs having the code 'QLF' = means 'are you sending with your
left foot ?' if morse signals humble around. Yes, I was shooting the one picture
with my left hand, holding the K5 in the right hand.

Hi

I have been using this for many years, allows you to unclip the strap, leave it on your wrist and re attach the cam when ready. It is also very soft around your wrist so it is most comfortable.
