New K5 owner

Well, my favorite UPS guy just brought my K5, so happy to own this great camera!
I am still going through the menus but so far, I can say I was shocked (in a good way) by 2 things:
It's size/weight.. so compact and light... Great for those long shooting days.
And the shutter sound, or should I say almost lack of sound! What a difference compared to the Kr shutter!

Just itching to go shoot something now!
By the way, my serial starts with 4245xxx, is there a way to know how old/new it is?
Thanks!

Edit: nevermind, I found the page to check camera count and manufacture date.

Use PhotoME

Download the free exif utility PhotoME, install, run & open a file.

Enter 'Manufacture' in the 'find' box & you should see the date of manufacture.

Enter 'Shutter' in the same box to reveal the Shutter Count which should equate to the number of shots you've taken.

For those that need clarification!

Thanks, I just found out on this site it was built in November 2011 and shutter count for my first photo was 1.
Guess I'm the very first user.

I use Photome regularly.

The find box at bottom of screen is not always there. How do you get it to appear when wanted?. I have tried everything.

Ctrl + F should do it, or there's a hand lens icon next to the file menu
At least on the current version
