Bracket?

Hello Folks,

Does the K-5 have an automatic exposure bracketing function? If so, what is it called, so I can look it up in the manual?

Thanks, Tom

Hello Again,

I followed the instructions, but my camera does not respond the way the manual says it should. When I press the four way controller ^ only three options are offered, and exposure bracketing is not among them. Is it possible that a firmware update would cure this?

The firmware that came with it should have that functionality. Maybe another setting is blocking it, try switching to raw and see if you have that option.

What mode are you in? I don't think you will see the option for Exp Bracketing if you are in green box mode.

This is because you are in "Green Mode"--Change mode sw to other modes like P/AV etc and you will have access to Exposure Bracketing as one of your drive modes---^ on four way controller.

I have my RAW button set to Exposure Bracketing. Makes it a snap to bracket quickly.

True, but it doesn't help you to stop bracketing quickly, which is why I has to take it back off.
