Hey guys looking to buy a k-5 on eBay the guy has hardly used it less than 1000 shutter actuations

Few questions he bought it in Nov 2011 serial number 40555000. No record of this on database is this likely to be after sensor stain issue.

Also he has all the receipts and papers but hasn't registerd it online. Where can I do this if I purchase it. Does registering activate the warranty

Maybe ask the guy to check for any stains or get him to take a shot of a blue sky at the narrowest aperture and email it to you so you can check yourself.
