K5, first shot always black...

Dear friend, I'm Angelo from Italy.
I have a damned problem with my K5, after turning on the camera its first shot from is alway black.

Does anyone have this problem?

I try to reset camera and sd but nothing...

Please post the sample image with exif info.

Maybe you forgot to remove the lens cap? Sorry I couldn't resist

As SpecialK said, posting a sample photo of the issue would help us identify the cause.

I used to have this exact problem with my K20D -- the symptoms sound precisely the same.

It was a sticky shutter, and it required a trip to the repair center.

1/5000s shutter at f0.0, 50mm?
Do these numbers make sense for this photo?

The AE Metering segments seem to be registering rather high. All near 9-10.
Otherwise the image is certainly pretty ugh all black. Even with levels increased as much as possible, I only see sensor noise.

Regardless of the issue, i think the thing is in need of repair.

Is a lens mounted and communicating properly with the camera? "f/0" is a sign of trouble here...
