100% view

on our monitors the image can be viewed at 100%, what magnification point on the camera lcd screen equates to this, if any do? also at what magnification would you check for overall sharpness of an image, would you go more than 100%?

Never go to more than 100% to determine sharpness. 100% on the K-5 is about 8x; I believe there are a few other threads on the topic already.

Never got it fully answered myself, but my impression (although with the case of K-x) was too that 8x = 100%
