cant get pictures on computer
Why wont the pictures from my K5 go on the computer ?

Give us some clue of what is going on :
- are you connecting via USB cable or taking the SD card out
- did you load the Pentax driver software
- are you shooting in raw or jpg
- has it worked before
- what kind of PC is it (what operating system)
- what software are you using to view the pictures

That would be a good start.

Yes I am useing usb cable . Raw and have not load software. Dell PC windows 7.. It did work before . But I did get a new sd card.

Does it still work with the old SD card?
And which are the old and new sd card?

That might be the problem.
64GB arent SDHC but SDXC

Try these.

for win7 32bit

although if using usb that shouldn't be an issue as the computer doesn't see it as an SD card.
are the photo's visible on the camera?
also when you plug in the usb cable, connect to computer and switch on camera does the top lcd say PC
the likely problem is a computer driver issue... the computer see's the connection as a 'PENTAX DSC_K5 USB Device'
not sure though if that is really just a standard usb disc driver or something that is installed from pentax..

SanDisk was selling 64GB SDHC cards. That might be part of the problem here, as they were not made to the SDHC specification.

@COULDD What version of the Firmware is in the K-5? Turn on the camera while holding down the Menu button to find out. Support for SDXC cards wasn't added till Version 1.02 and there were problems until Version 1.13.

Actually when you look at the hardware SDHC and SDXC are the same
