99.999

So I'm almost there. Just past the 99k last friday. Still have about 900 shots to go.... Does anyone think that when I hit 100k, the meter will go back to zero and I could sell the camera as almost brand new?

I guess that after those 900 shots, the shutter will lock up, catch fire, and fry the whole camera.

100.000

It did not explode and the counter now says 100.040 images made. So we are good to go to 999.999 (I think).

The only thing more impressive than this, must be the size of your storage system! Even if your keeper rate was only 10%, my present setup would be bulging.

Well I go true a stack of images and give them stars (one for non-game action or two for game action mostley and a few for 3/4 stars). The ones without any star goes down the drain directly. Then I browse true them and designate again some 3/4/5 stars to the once to keep for publication or so. In the second run I also downgrade some images to zero, when I feel I have double (a portrait at two times in a game).

I also run true some items from time to time, when some time has gone bye and delelte some images that are not intersting anymore. So I end up with less then 10 % in time.

I think when you click the shutter at 99,000 shots the camera will reboot and the message will appear on the screen:

'FF Mode unlocked'
