Just pulled the trigger

Ordered a K5 body, Sigma 1.4x and 2x teleconverters, BG4 battery grip, and Pentax 540 flash from BH photo. Can't wait till they get here and I can play with them.

The reason I ordered the K5 is for the extended ISO settings (specifically the ISO 80), the higher mega pixel count, and the nice fast shutter speeds which allow freezing action of hummingbirds in flight.

Congrats on the camera, you will love it.

Haven't had much luck with Hummingbirds, these are through a window...










I had better luck with Hummingbird Moths...

oh I have a few lenses... M42, K, PK mount. Some manual, some auto aperature and manual focus and some full auto.

great hummer shots here are some of mine:

K7 with Sigma 50-500mm AF 360 flash 1/6000 shutter speed taken 2012


Spotmatic Super Takumar 200mm on 2x tele-extender taken in 1994
