Rubber cover for external mic input

Hello all,

I just upgraded from K100D to K5 a few days ago. What a difference. K5 is simply a joy to use. I also like the smooth shutter sound. Anyway, I was playing with the camera and the build quality seems to be excellent, but there is one point that made me little concerned. The rubber cover for the external mic input seems to be rather flimsy and I feel nervous to be taking it out and putting it back repeatedly. It seems like the part that is connected to the body might just snap off after repeated use. Did anyone have any issues with the rubber cover snapping off or falling out?

Thanks. I can't wait to go out and take some pics with my new K5!

It's been on my mind and I do use an external mic. I'm just careful with it though. Had my K-5 for a year and a half with no lost rubber cover.
